Brisbane's new golf course Minnippi at Cannon Hill to open late 2022

 Brisbane residents will tee off on a new public golf course this year, months after the popular Victoria Park club in Kelvin Grove was transformed into parklands. 

Clublinks was awarded the tender by Brisbane City Council to build and operate Minnippi Golf Course at Creek Rd, Cannon Hill.

Lord Mayor Adrian Schrinner said the new operator would deliver family friendly entertainment, community events and night activities as well as golfing greens at the first new public golf course to be built in Brisbane in 70 years.

St Lucia Golf Course is the other public course in Brisbane.
