Powerhouse pontoon lets tourists visit islands direct from New Farm

Brisbane's river tourism operators expect the new hub launched at New Farm on Tuesday will boost the numbers of tourists heading out to Moreton Bay.

While the public and commercial mooring hub is free to access for residents to tie up a boat, kayak, paddleboard or tinny for a few hours at the park, its tourism potential has commercial operators excited.
